DIMENSIONS AND BERTHS
Marina Chiavari can accommodate up to 459 crafts, arranged along 9 piers and 2 quays on the north and east sides; the berths are subdivided as follows:
- 118 for boats up to 6 mt.
- 142 for boats up to 8 mt.
- 169 for boats up to 12 mt
- 26 for boats up to 18 mt.
- 4 for boats up to 25 mt.
215 stalls are also available for small boats and/or cars.
The transit pier can berth up to 35 boats and 12 equipped berths.
REFERENCE POINTS
The offices are located at the Tower, which is easily visible at the head of the west quay, where you can also find the berthing party (Cala Nostromo), the administration and the Navimeteo Weather Observatory.
Line handling is available all day long.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
The port of Chiavari is protected by an outer elbow jetty, with quay frontage up to the entrance, and by a straight inner jetty to the southwest.
The outer dock and the North quay are equipped with landing stages.The south quay is reserved exclusively to fishermen and boats in transit, whilst the left pier, at the head of the jetty at the entrance with the red light, is reserved for the transit of tourist ferries.
The safe roads nearest to the port are under the lee of the Portofino Promontory, 4.5 miles to the west, and at Sestri Levante, to the east.

It is forbidden to anchor at more than 50 mt from the outer southern breakwater
BEACONS AND LAMPS
Green flashing light at the front of the breakwater quay, 1 flash (2 secs), 6-second cycle:
1697 (E 1257) – long flashing green light, 6-sec cycle, 6 mt range at the head of the seaward jetty (safety range 20 mt)
Fixed green and red lights at the entrance to the marina:
1698 (E 1257.4) – fixed red light, 2 mt range at the seaward jetty head (safety range 10 mt)
1697.2 (E 1257.2) – fixed green light, 2 mt range at the front of the inner head of the seaward jetty (safety range 10 mt)
RADIO
VHF channel 10 tuning and 24 hours on channel 16
The whole harbour area is covered by a wireless broad band connection

PARKING AREA
Inside the harbour area there are 63 parking places, accessible using a magnetic card.
HOW TO ARRIVE
By plane: Chiavari is located 40 km from the Cristoforo Colombo airport of Genoa
By train: Marina Chiavari is only 50 mt. from the railway station
By car: exit Chiavari toll gate on the A12 motorway; the port is less than 1 km from the toll gate:
Turn right at the first roundabout (Via Fiume), then go straight down to the sea, passing under the railway crossover.
Once you arrive at the sea, turn left and after 1200 mt you will reach the port entrance.
